Landscaping In South Florida

What exactly is landscaping an undeveloped or underdeveloped yard or property? By definition, to be properly said to be landscaping a property, you must be making improvements (or maintaining past improvements) on that property's grounds -- either in a practical or in an aesthetic way. In an extended sense, everything on your property that stands outside of the home, itself is part of a property's landscaping.

Simply put, if you can look out your window and see a fixed feature in your yard affecting the overall aesthetics or practical functioning of your property, then that feature falls under the purview of the "landscaping" for said property. Note also that some practical features of one's landscaping, such as underground drainage systems, are of critical importance, even though they exist unseen.

Some homeowners like to color coordinate their house and their landscaping. That is easy enough, but how far should you go in harmonizing house and yard aesthetically? For example, if the style of your home does not qualify it as a "cottage," can you still landscape in the cottage-garden style? There is no doubt that some types of hardscape features fit better with some houses than with others. A rustic-style deck, for example, will look much better attached to a log cabin than to an ultra-modern contemporary.

Landscaping is the beautification of out door terrain which is mainly engaged in exterior works and gardening in both residential and non-residential buildings and parks through the process of planting trees, flowers, shrubs, grasses, water fountains, construction walkways, pavements and drainage.

Outdoor areas are often the last to receive design attention, but they should not be — the landscape that surrounds your home is just as important as what is in it. Whether it is a manicured front lawn, stone-paved pathway or intricate garden design, landscapes benefit from the same attention to detail as any room in your house. Well-executed landscaping ideas can complement your home's entire aesthetic, and the right plants, flowers and shrubbery can greatly enhance your curb appeal by adding color, texture and even fragrance to your yard.
The execution of the landscape design plan is as important as the design.
Professional installation and maintenance of your landscape keeps your property in pristine condition.
